Ocean Course Wedding by WED
Our clients Caroline and Gil hosted nearly 400 guests for their wedding on Kiawah Island. With the help of WED, Our robots executed lighting, sound and custom woodworking to create a timeless black-tie reception space for the couple to enjoy their reception, which overlooked the Ocean Course.
Ellen Robinson from WED selected our Eldridge Pendants to hang above the entertainment and bar areas. We constructed a custom canopy, using posts, and hung romantic string lights and bronze lanterns throughout. This pathway helped lead guests from the ceremony to the tented reception for cocktail hour, where a four-sided barn, adorned with potted trees and lush floral arrangements, awaited guests.
“We also used lots of string lights in the clear-top tent and large trees to add interest and height and really make the tent feel like a room of its own,” remarked the bride, Caroline.
String lights also hung over the side lawn to illuminate a gathering space for guests to mingle outside of the tent. In addition, we provided uplighting for the band, audio for the ceremony and designed a hexagon structure for the groom’s bourbon lounge.
